Ghost pepper dunked zinger burger from KFC...wtf is this. Not hot at all, so sick of companies using ghost pepper as a marketing ploy, same as the Big Korn bites ghost pepper...no heat whatsoever

I don't think your taste buds might have died. The BKB isn't nearly as hot as ghost pepper, but it has some decent heat

I think it gets toned down. Bought Nando's extra hot peri-peri chicken the other day and was seriously disappointed as it also had very little heat.

That's quite disappointing. I haven't had Nandos in years and I used to love their extra hot peri-peri. I need to get to a Nandos soon.
