Now I wish I'd thought of doing some proper food before I got this hot dog craving. It happens about once a year though and I just have to indulge once and then remember why hot dogs shouldn't be classified as food.
If only we could buy decent sausage of any sort (boerewors excluded).

Chicken, fried in a pan.

With a salad of some sorts.

It's 22:18, a bit late ... but that's unfortunately how my evening panned out.

Multi-bean chili with moz cheese

Looks a little bland but tastes great. :D

Also very chuffed that I nailed the balancing on the Jalapeño - these ones where different both in size & strength from the previous ones so I was kinda winging that.

what are you having for dinner?

I am enjoying the woolies ostrich burgers. So it is ostrich burger, sweet potatoe chips and a bit of salad on the side.

cheesy russians on a braai ...should have braaid a bowl of salad one time

It didn't look like russians, it looked like cheese grillers, massive amounts of cheese in them. I'll eat them again, but not on a braai though.

Think today will be a veggie day again. Saw flightless pumpkins at the butchery that's over 3kg! Think I'll put it on the spit.

Apparently it's called Mandi. Basically boiled (I assume) lamb and rice.

Airport food?
Oddly enough no. It is traditional Saudi food in a very popular restaurant In Jeddah. That plate was R360 but luckily I was 'treated'. Very average but the locals rave over it :wtf:

Arabs just can't do lamb.
