Chicken avo salad on corn toast (woolies). Real simple

Melanzane parmigiana

Eggplant, garlic, tomatoes, onion, brown mushroom, mozzarella, cheddar, blue cheese, vegetarian parmesan-style cheese

Just finished prepping my slow cooker Chilli.

Now it will cook for a good 8 hours and then have it with some nachos tonight.

Have some mini wraps in the freezer, will maybe try something with that.

Tried to turn down the hotness a bit so that it was baby friendly. Maybe overdid it a bit as it was very mild.

But still qualifies a Chilli. :)

Didn't drain the one can of beans as I usually do so could be more liquid throwing the balance out.

Still a great meal as always. And lunch for three days.

so i did beef ribs, wasnt the best cuts of meat i think cos got it on special for R50 a kg at fruit n veg

so i spiced it with smoked paprika, chinese 5 spice and some garlic and rosemary spices

and cooked it in the oven for about 2 hours

then i made a marinate with some brown sugar, water, tomato sauce, bbq sauce, soya sauce and added some garlic, ginger and chilli

poured this over the ribs and then in the oven for about 20mins. then grilled for about 15mins with little more marinate

served with butternut and potato mash

was so good , the meat was nice and soft but not soft like lamb shanks or leg roast

and dammit that soya ginger marinate was very good
