Oh sorry thought I had.

Will go find it now.

*Beef (Goulash or Mince)
5 Garlic Cloves
1 large onion.
1 canned tomato
2 cans beans (black or kidney beans preferred. Drain one can, use the liquid from the other)
**3 - 6 teaspoons chilli powder
2 teaspoons oregano
3 teaspoons ground cumin
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 x bell peppers
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup jalapeños / chillies
2 ribs celery
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon basil

*I use Goulash like today when I make it for only family and not in massive quantity.

When I'm going cheap or want to bulk it up I'll use mince or a combination of Goulash and mince.

You can also add another can of beans or possibly even just go with beans if you want to try vegetarian.

This is much dependant on taste and what chilli powder you buy.

Right now I have Woolworths Chilli powder and with 3 teaspoons it's pretty hot.

You can also change the jalapeños for other chillies if you want to make it crazy.

Normal slow cooker rules apply otherwise. You can usually use one can of beans with brine and the rest drained and you'll have enough liquid for a long cook.

Whether you brown the meat beforehand or not is really your choice. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.

I am trying it soon. Thank you , I like the mince /goulash combo.

Yeah especially after frying it in the pan remember to transfer the juices to your crock pot as well.

Chicken, mushrooms, garlic, peppers, lemon and cream. In cast iron.

So we have had to have a rather unexpected lifestyle changes after a health scare and surgery for hubby last week. Gone are the fatty bulk cooked meals and I'm having to relearn how to cook a healthy meal. Going to have to figure out how to make gluten free, carb free, no gas making foods (legumes, mushroom etc). It's going to be one hell of a challenge but it's this or no hubby. Took me a good few hours to choose him over my food

Lettuce cups with various fillings will be a new staple and I have to say I am loving it. Even my kids who despise veggies are getting into it.

Tonight we had Caramelized steak and onion, with steamed veggies, olive tapenade, Avo, Danish feta, Greek yogurt and cottage cheese spread and fresh tomatoes.

It was Delish as hell. I can see it getting old fast but for now with breads out the pic I think there will be lots of lettuce cups in our future. ImageUploadedByMyBroadband1473020558.169723.jpgImageUploadedByMyBroadband1473020575.001371.jpg

Don't buy too deeply into the gluten free catch all the dietician's like to push.

Unless he had celiac's you'll find in time that if you start "testing" against it that it's meaningless.

Beyond that if there is a real gluten problem look towards testing sour dough. Recent discoveries have indicated it's not so much gluten that is the problem but the mass manufacturer (yeast based) of gluten products.

Sour dough is old school and skips all that.

May I ask what the Disease/issue in question is? Sounds like a one track description to my own.

The food looks amazing though.
