What's for supper - Second Course

Chicken soup is also a firm favourite of mine.

Unfortunately I have to expend a lot of electricity to cook chicken soup because I do it on the stove. My stove is old and very inefficient.

Next week I'm going to buy a slow cooker.

Soup looks really good. Nice broth. Just need some bigass chunks of freshly-baked bread to dunk in there.

Broth!

I wanted to say the same thing but I thought it would be insulting to say that it is a broth and not a soup ... as if a broth is less than a soup.

I was planning to make bread but it turned out I'd used up most of my bread flour making pretzels the other day.

Broth is the building block of the soup.

Spagbol. MrsC did a 'declutter' of the kitchen so it's going to be out of bounds from my messy cooking for a little while :(

Seems like curry or at least turmeric was added to that soup.

Me ... I bought a chicken cooked in a bag from PnP again. I'm following a usual assembly procedure again with ingredients I have told you about many times.

But let me finish with the remark that I am going to be very happy with what I will be having for supper tonight.

I'm eating at the moment.

I'm very happy.

EDIT: But it's probably because I'm ravenous.
