Veggie soup

Oh, that was my lunch.

EDIT: I went from a glass of "Ensure" shake as breakfast
to a bowl of veggie soup for lunch
to a bowl of saucy tomato beef mince and feta cheese for supper.

No bread or pasta!!!!

Banting, mother****ers!!!

It's not banting if you just cut out bread or pasta.

Then cook...

Dude how much time you spend cooking? i get the impression you don't have a 9 to 5. Bit of a challenge getting home after 6 and preparing saucy Vigo stuff. But it's food porno for me. Also I'm interested in the slow cooker stuff on the Weber.

Sous-vide leg of lamb with a red wine reduction sauce.

Was it bone in or deboned? And what was your time and temp?
Btw, it looks great, I'd like to try something similar.

Pan fried chicken breast and a black mushroom with garlic, butter, cream cheese and cheese.

Please do something about those photos. You've got a Note4 (I think...right?), that has a great camera. Just use decent lighting and take it back a little.

Had what should have been a lovely soft shin stew but there's something wrong with our oven, it doesn't regulate temps so even at 120c it dried right out and burnt at the edges when MrsC left it in. Going to have to have it fixed, this sucks.

I frequently get started on cooking after 6, and need to help with the kids, and often work still in the evening with MSI. I can usually manage to knock out something tasty in an hour. It's also the most therapeutic part of my day. You might not have the time to do what randhir does but it's still not an excuse.

I don't spend a lot of time on most dishes. Prep is important. For instance, my roast chicken is prepared 24/48 hours before cooking. So are my steaks And you're right, I do work from home a lot but that doesn't mean that a person with a 9-5 couldn't make those during the week or even on the weekend. When I started cooking I was at the office most of the day.

Yeah exactly. Longer cooks like stews and the likes might be out for same day cooking, but can be made in advance, take very little prep (and actually taste better the next day.)

Bone-in. I used 62C for 24 hours but it was a small joint so in future I would go lower temp, lower time.

Yep you could have saved yourself R8.

And the insulin spike.
