how does the chicken taste ...cause i have had stuffed chicken and the taste was not there

i know you probably add herbs and stuff

You've had one dish that was called stuffed chicken. There are umpteen stuffed chicken recipes ranging from frozen PnP 'kievs' to mnr randhir's frenchie deboned sous vide version. If you do the prep work on the chicken meat there is plenty of flavour.

It could actually have been salt. But generally stuffing chicken I prefer to prepare the stuffing separately, as randhir does in the first pic, in a saucepan, browning and flavouring everything before baking it.

My chicken in a pan which I made last night, with only salt and pepper was plenty flavoursome! Like unbelievably so... Juicier than Juicy J!!

Was good. Settled on walnuts for the stuffing which added to the taste and made for a nice texture.

Do you perhaps have a link for this recipe?

No recipe per se. The deboning technique is here.

The stuffing was just sauteed mushrooms with garlic, with peppers added in with balsamic vinegar to glaze. Added in walnuts and cheese once the mixture had cooled, just before stuffing.

My knives ain't anywhere half as sharp as his

Get a better knife. Either way, he hardly uses the knife, and when he does, it's to cut through joint. No sharp knife needed.

But get a better one.

I have ****all in my freezer. Only half a bag of ice.

I have eggs in the fridge though. I think that's what I'll be having tonight.

I'll have to hit PnP hard tomorrow.

First attempt at deboning a chicken. Used one of those Tuscan style spiced chickens from Woolworths and stuffed it with parsley, diced dried apricots, garlic, olive oil and mixed seeds and nuts (the ones used for salads cause it was cheap). Had to skewer it on a chopstick because I didn't have string.

It's in the oven. Quite excited. Shot for the idea Randhir!
