Made some stuffed fillet with spinach and feta on the braai

I tried the one similar to this a few weeks back, the one with the mince and cream cheese and whatnot.
Twas a bit dry but still got props from everyone. Thanks :)

I've been trying to invent new things for my braai ever since. :D

Get a proper thermometer, especially for things like fillet.

Made some mutton curry with almonds.

I tried something that Randir made a while back for dessert. Whipped cream and dark chocolate (tasted a bit like ear wax but the cream balanced it out).

The problem with using dark chocolate chunks in cold pudding is it doesn't really get a chance to melt in your mouth so you're just tasting the cocoa fat and not much else. Same if you buy a dark slab and eat it cold - it's pretty bland, but if you leave it in your mouth to melt it's delicious.

Sitting in the dark at Pangaea lounge. Sipping on Jameson's contemplating whether to get takeaways or cook when I get home.

Precisely why we microplaned a bit of the chocolate on top of the berries and cream. Was never meant to be just chocolate and cream. Should have made a ganache if that's all he had.

Chicken wrap with Tsatsiki yoghurt spread on the wrap, brown rice, lentils and chick peas added to the chicken with Nando's sauce dribbled across.
