A lot of Saffers i've talked to have never had whole fish. I find it really odd. They are a bit grossed out by it.

We don't do fish often because I'm not confident in cooking it. Always seems to end up dry when I do it.

Once had a whole dorado at friends. Was magical.

Made t-bone and "cauliflower steaks" with a cheesy pepper mushroom sauce. Got a really nice color on the cauliflower tonight.

^^^ There better be some ass-whippingly hot chillies in there.

We had guests over last night. There was a braaied yellowtail, and I made a sauerkraut sausage paprika dumpling stew. No pics, sorry.

That sounds intriguing :). There's something special about dumplings in a stew - partly because my mom never made it like that so the first time was a wow! moment. Dumplings for us were always a desert-type thing - fried in a butter & served with cinnamon sugar.
