Pepper mushroom sauce....

With a piece of medium rare steak somewhere underneath there. And bits and pieces of roasted cauliflower.

Looks delicious.

Love broccoli. (bet my mom never thought she would hear those words uttered from my mouth)

I've never had them.

How would you describe the taste? Can it be compared to any other vegetable?

Preferred method of cooking?
Think he's saying he still hates them. They're mini cabbages and they can taste very bitter if cooked badly ie stewed in water for too long. They can be nice though, try sautéing them in browned butter and olive oil with plenty of garlic and parmesan, or breaded and baked.

You are correct. I was clearly not 100% awake yet when I read and replied to that.

I'll give them a go next time I spot them. See what the fuss is about.

One method is to use just the outer leaves:

http://vegdays.blogspot.co.za/2015/08/brussel-sprout-crisps.html
300g Fresh Brussel sprouts
1T olive oil
salt
Chilli flakes - optional

Preheat oven to 200C. Slice the root end off each sprout and carefully separate the green outer leaves. Do not use the white leaves. Toss in olive oil and salt (chilli if using)
Place on a baking tray and bake for 3 minutes, give the pan a good shake and bake again till the edges are brown...possibly only 1 more minute. eat as soon as possible.

But I enjoy the bitterness from baking the whole thing so I coat with oil and bake whole sprinkled with salt.
Also nice as per cerebus.

Can't for the life of me get calamri cooked right. It's always tough and chewy. I bought baby squids yesterday and now I fear I'm going to mess them up. Does anybody have a good recipe as online recipes vary and I'm a little confused.

Calamari is gross. The only thing to do with it is cut it into very thin slices, batter it and fry it quickly. Knock yourself out.

Open Keto Burger Things.

Grilled Chicken Breast at the bottom, shredded cabbage, cheddar, mayo and then topped off with a fried egg. Roasted cauliflower with Sriracha sauce(only on mine) in the background (Just for some extra veggies and fiber).
