Bami Goreng from my wife

Low Carb Burgers . One with just Halloumi and one with Halloumi and topped with a fried egg. "Buns" were Chinese cabbage leaves.

Must be some of the biggest egg yolks I've seen in a while. Got the eggs from a farmer friend.

Single dad for the last 3 months with my wife in the UK. If it was only myself I would probably have a sandwich on most nights but have to cook for 2 kids as well. Tonight is chicken curry and rice.

And some pics from previous nights.

Going to make cheese, mushroom and bacon omelets because I'm too lazy in the morning to make them. Easy supper

Cooked fruit. Pear, persimmon, chocolate walnut thing. Realized that by adding a small amount of oats it starts creating layers of skin toward the end - as soon as a layer formed I folded back in and let more form. Repeated this a few times which made such a thick creamy sauce from so few ingredients each so simple (fruit, water, spice), but when cooked down becomes this amazing sticky dark bowl of hmmmm. Loaded it with greek yogurt.

Hope you added cinnamon and cloves.

Kids loved the chicken curry I made last week and asked me to make again tonight. This time I only used boneless chicken breasts cut into cubes. Come out better tonight than last time.

Think I should get an unsliced bread and use the leftover for a chicken curry bunny tomorrow.

I love my son's love for food and trying new stuff.

He started eating olives at 5 and loves the pickled olives I make every year from my olive tree. I only started to enjoy olives in my late twenties. He also enjoys sushi and will try almost anything new.

He's sister on the other hand is the complete opposite and will rather just have a toasted cheese sandwich before trying anything new I make or buy.
