Filipino adobo chicken with smashed cucumber salad

What makes it Korean? That looks like South African rainbow chicken

The primary flavours are miso, soy, paprika, chilli, sesame, and honey. But to me Korean and Japanese stews have the same kind of feeling as an African stew, just with a different profile. It's really just comfort food.
 
Did a Food Jam for my 40th yesterday.


Can highly recommend to anyone in Cape Town who has food making friends and looking for a no mess no fuss party arrangement.

They do all buying and prepping of stations and then you split into teams with different recipes and essentially make your own food which they do a little bit of presentation work on and then sit down at a table to have the rest of your party.

Forgot to actually take pictures of the end results but will ask them to send me the pictures they took as well and post them here later.
