Yum yum... Must work well.

I sometimes see roti spelled as rooti. How do you pronounce it then ? It just sounds off to me!

In all my travels through India and my exposure to Indian culture I have never heard anyone pronounce it as 'rooty'.

Maybe in the Cape ?

I spell it and pronounce it roti. Roooooti might just be a Cape Town thing? I over-emphasised the "o"s.
