Yum yum... Must work well.

Finished my last 2 roooooties on Sunday. NOMNOMNOM. Great with chilli sauce!

I sometimes see roti spelled as rooti. How do you pronounce it then ? It just sounds off to me!

Spelt "roti"
Pronounced "rooty"

In all my travels through India and my exposure to Indian culture I have never heard anyone pronounce it as 'rooty'.

Maybe in the Cape ?

Yep, in PE too... also see wiki:
Roti, pronounced "Rooti" in Cape Town, is also a staple food source amongst many of the Indian, Asian and Cape coloured communities living in South Africa and is either eaten as a flat bread or a wrap with locally made curries.

to me they are like snackwich toasters cause i put anything in them. I've had peanut butter and golden syrup in my rooti and cheese and jam.

Spaghetti and mince ... Simple but yum!

Pud was lovely moist caramel and vanilla cake.

I hate this thread, its so depressing to read all about these foods! especially at this hour... :(
