What's for supper?

Rib eye steak with wedges and a creamy garlic mushroom sauce.

Unfortunately I screwed up with my timing tonight and the steak was medium to well instead of medium rare.

I used too small a pot and my sauce took way too long to reduce enough. During that time I might have forgotten about the steak in the oven for 4 minutes longer than needed.

Sauce was marvelous though and it sorta saved the over-cooked steak.

Tuna and banana go very well together. The wife introduced me to the concept. Whenever she makes tuna mayo she mashes a small banana into it to bulk it up and it works very well. Should not use a very ripe banana as you want the taste to be subtle, preferably a fairly fresh banana that is still a little green almost.

At last, another intelligent fellow.

This is my post from a couple of days ago.

This is seriously the best thing I eaten all month.

Some of you might react that this is a sad thing ... but I disagree.

Butter
Onions
Sliced bananas
Canned Tuna
Olive oil
Cracked black pepper

on some whole wheat toast
