Please can someone help me, i've been on holiday and my cap is gone, history! I wasn't even at home!

I've disabled windows updates, so it can't be that!
The ISP guys have shown me screen-shots that confirm that only 1 IP has been allocated to my account.

WTF is going on, anyone have any ideas?

was anyone house sitting ?

stupid question, but just asking....

Hi Keeper

Thanks for the reply my man, only the F*&king cat was at home!!!

I sure my kitty wasn't surfing or watching "kitty porn" (least i hope not?)

Was the router disconnected?

Do you dailup on your router in non-bridge mode and does it support wireless? Might be a neighbour using your account via wireless if you do.

Kitty porn...lulz

Thats one hairy *****!

And yeah check wireless, thats usually the cause of missing bandwidth.

Firstly, make sure your wireless is protected.

Seondly, download a program called Netlimiter monitor (www.netlimiter.com)
This program will monitor all your applications and show you have much bandwidth each is using. I remember once that avast anti-virus was using almost 3gb of bandwidth every month, and thanks to netlimiter I found that out.
In your case, it could also be something as trivial as an anti-virus program, a virus or some other bandwidth hogging application that you don't know about; netlimiter will tell you exactly.

Hope you come right. Good luck!
