What's the point?

For the opportunity to tell everyone to get stuffed...
 
Fun! If you aren't having it - you need to practice more. Like most things, it takes practice - AND you have to want to have fun...
 
You either want to survive or you don't. This choice alone determines whether you carry on in the gene pool or not. In my view it's that simple :) If too many people start giving up then life will simply correct itself.

The "why" is merely to survive. The "want" of survival is how lucky you are to have received the instinct, environment and stimulus to enjoy and find meaning in life.

If you appreciate the simplicity of this you might also be able to employ realistic strategies to find better meaning in life. It isn't magic, spiritual, profound or anything like that. There doesn't have to be an ultimate meaning, what for? The meaning is in the process.

^ this. Life is about the journey, not the destination. Unfortunately too many realise this too late and have spent their lives doing very little that makes them happy. It is however unfortunate that someone decided to invent money which generally keeps most people trapped and depressed rather than letting them spread their wings and enjoy the great gift that life truly is.

Yeah, I'm sure I'd have more "fun" living in a cave than what we have today.
