What's the point?

Take some time away from the cubicle and the gadgets for a bit. Spent time helping those less fortunate than yourself this weekend. Might pull you out of navel gazing. What is the point? It is whatever you make of it. I've chosen to live a life full of experiences that take me out of my comfort zone, travel, eat weird things, run, laugh, grow stuff, make stuff with my hands.

Also, if you think you don't matter then there is no point.

At the end of the day... what for?

Point: A dot or other punctuation mark, in particular a full stop.

or: The meaning of life, or the answer to the question "What is the meaning of life?",
is a philosophical and spiritual conception of the significance of living or existence in general.

Take a walk in the countryside.
Sit outside in a lovely garden or park, close your eyes and let the sun fall on your face.
Sleep under a tree
Read a book in a garden hammock
Treat yourself to a light lunch and a glass of chilled white wine in a fancy bistro
Book a head massage

^ this. Life is about the journey, not the destination. Unfortunately too many realise this too late and have spent their lives doing very little that makes them happy. It is however unfortunate that someone decided to invent money which generally keeps most people trapped and depressed rather than letting them spread their wings and enjoy the great gift that life truly is.

Aren't you the guy who's always going on about how much you earn? Or is that messugga?

This. We got conned good and proper into this trap of a life. Work for that money and buy, buy, buy, because it will "make you happy". All the cool people in the ads look like they're having fun so it must really be true right? But really it's all shallow and meaningless.

Yeah, I'm sure I'd have more "fun" living in a cave than what we have today.

+1 but then you probably wouldn't be able to feed or clothe yourself. You'll need a permit to fish or hunt. You'll probably get arrested because you're farming or living off someone's gazzillion acres of land. Or some animal or human will attack you.
