Whatsap service extended

I have it on Android, never paid for it, and it only expires in 2022. How does that work?

I downloaded the iOS one on iTunes on my pc even though I didn't have an iPhone, when it was free, so now when I installed it on my android phone it says I have paid for it :)

Apologies if my post is incorrect, but I have been on it for a very long time and always just saw that the service has been extended. (S60 and Android - I can not comment on iOS)

Happened to me too this morning. I've been on it for around 18 months now.

Hmm.. Where do you see this "free extension" information? I've never seen it before on Android.

In the App, Press menu, then settings, then goto Account, Payment info.

And I see mine also got an Free extension, now says Service Expire June 29, 2013. I wonder if the free extensions has anything to do with reflasing phones? Picks it up as a new install maybe?

I have never paid for Whatsapp on S60 Nokia or Android. Everytime an update comes out my license period gets extended... I have a few iPhone user friends who moan about not being able to use whatsapp as they can't pay for the paid version :D

when they have the whole world hooked in they'll make some serious $$$ :D
