WhatsApp and Teams Intergration

Hi guys,

As the title says, anyone know if it is possible to intergrate Microsoft Teams with WhatsApp Business and if there is how easy is it to set up.

There are services I see that offer this but looking for a way that doesn't involve paying a subscription.

Our company is wanting to primarily make use of teams for project collaboration but the site supervisors, who ideally should be included in this, are more familiar with using whatsapp for communication.

Most likely not, there are heavy rules and restrictions around whatsapp apis. Can it be done, sure but you won't get around the subscription restrictions or messaging costs on the api.

Thanks, makes sense then why there are only subscription based models available.

Not with WA Business.
One of the times where Telegram is better since it has open APIs.

You can chat to Clickatell but it won’t be free.

So much admin for the minority. I'd just tell them to download the Teams mobile app.

Maybe you could look at using a Webhook. That's my 2 cent contribution. I've used a webhook to send an Azure Event Grid notification to a Team's channel. I'm sure there's a way.
