What do you prefer to use?

Depends. I’m not anti WhatsApp. It’s works well for a lot of things. Worst is work groups on WhatsApp; it’s difficult to curate who is there and who sees what. No ‘need to know’ options, difficult to back up and regulate and remove people. Then there’s the reliability issue as we saw.
Mostly I like Slack for B2B intra comms and Discord for nerd groups and teams.
For non time critical things email works well.
