+1 Whatsapp calls sucks. I often get the same.

Again, this is a poor network issue. 99% of the time it is far more reliable than traditional calls which is a 50/50 chance.

I had issues originally, and it did turn out to be network problems. About 95% fine now, mostly speak to family in Sydney.

Could also be related to where we call I suppose.

What's with their still making it difficult to use with PC's? Surely there's nothing to gain by that

No ways, standard voice call still better. WhatsApp voice has that 'delay' while talking and connection interruptions.

I use WhatsApp voice calling all the time.

Since WhatsApp switched from Opus to MLow codec, voice calls are much better:

• Quality is great.
• No noticeable delay.
• No connection interruptions.
• Near zero costs.
• Can switch to Video if needed.

I see no reason to use Cellular voice or traditional VoIP or POTS.
