So I finally got around to testing out whatsapp Multi-device allowing you to link an Android device as a Linked Device.
Luckily I have a spare old Android phone that I could try it out on. So I connected it to my main Android phone.
Forgot to take pics of both phones side by side.

Not sure whether this is a useful feature to most but I have been looking forward to Whatsapp supporting it for pretty much years now.
Now I just need Meta to allow for an iPhone to be used as a Linked device, so I can indulge in the platform agnostic life lol
