Whatsapp Multi-device finally started supporting other phones

So I finally got around to testing out whatsapp Multi-device allowing you to link an Android device as a Linked Device.

Luckily I have a spare old Android phone that I could try it out on. So I connected it to my spare iPhone.

Not sure whether this is a useful feature to most but I have been looking forward to Whatsapp supporting it for pretty much years now.

Now I just need Meta to allow for an iPhone to be used as a Linked device, so I can indulge in the platform agnostic life lol

yes

sadly whatsapp dev on multi-device has been so slow, I would say next year for iphones at the absolute earliest
 
I downloaded what's app on an IPhone.
Upon setup i seen the "link to an existing account" button.
I haven't tried to use it yet.
But it's been added!

Did you end up trying it out?

Yes you can. On the android app you actually have multiple accounts with the latest update.
The IOS app still doesn’t support multiple accounts on the same device.

what version is that? mine is 2.23.24.82
