Sorry if it's been asked and answered before but search isn't good on mobile app.

Two questions,
1. Is it possible to use rain SIM for WhatsApp?
2. If yes to 1.), How does one find out the mobile number of the sim and can you receive SMS to verify WhatsApp?

TIA

If you are a direct rain customer, the number is on your invoice and profile where you manage your sim.
It seems capable of sms since I recall receiving messages on activation of the sim.
It is not voice capable though so not wise as a primary sim.

Thanks. I'll check on my dashboard then, I do think I remember seeing it.

No, I don't plan on using it as my primary just want to reg an additional WhatsApp profile seeing as I have the SIM in a phone for now.

Thanks everyone. I got it activated. It would seem the rain chat drones aren't very knowledgeable of their own products.

Interesting, anyone been able to receive sms when it is in a router? I think it can only receive sms in a phone for some reason.

Tried to send a sms to one in my normal b525 and one in a Teltonika automotive router but both never received anything.

Should technically work.
