Will an iPhone work on CellC?

So my dad got a bit excited and bought himself an iPhone4 at the Apple store in Sandton.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get an iPhone working on CellC?

Trouble is that the SIM card we have for Cell C is not a micro SIM, and its one of those old school EDGE SIM cards (over 6 years old now! It does not even know what 3G is...) so we need to go get a micro SIM, preferably with the same number.

So uhh.... any tips?

Yes, it will work.

you can just cut the sim to the right size.. google/youtube it..

Not sure if CellC does micro sims. You'll have to cut up the new sim.
