WhatsApp testing major changes — including group admin delete feature

WhatsApp is rolling out several significant changes to its messaging platform, including the ability for group admins to delete any message for everyone.

Other changes include a feature that lets group members view participants that have left or been removed within 60 days and a revamped context menu on the WhatsApp desktop app.

Gonna make my life a lot easier. Previously I’ve been sending thugs to rough up group members until they learn not to post kak.
Not related to the chat, please remove

The Google-owned messaging platform started work on the feature — which helps admins moderate their WhatsApp groups better — in December 2021.

An exclusive hidden in the article. Didn't know Google purchased WhatsApp from Meta

Does anyone else have 2-factor authentication turned on?For the past week every morning, WhatsApp has been asking me for my verification code, usually, they ask for it once or twice a month.

This function suppose to be implemented when they first launched the app.

Another important feature to add would be notifications when someone takes a screenshot of the chat. It already exists in other apps like Snapchat. Deleting messages means nothing if someone already has a picture of a potentially damning message.

Yep, great app but kind of pointless when no-one else you know uses it or wants to switch.
