2010 ,first thing I bought with my first paycheck.

Was with mweb 512kps uncapped for R600 a month.

I only paid R3000 a month ,but was totally worth it

so for the next 4 years, you went up by 1mbps? make that 5 years, its nearly 2016.

Currently at 2 and probably going to 4 from February onwards

2008??? cant remember.... 384k..1GB cap.
now on 4mb uncapped. pretty much fits all my needs. I can watch 720p with no buffering.
10mb would be great, but cannot justify the expense at the moment.

Yeah it was all 512k back then. Registered here the first day I hit the dreaded 3GB cap

2004/2005 got my 384k internet to play dota on twilight and had no lag whatsoever.

2015 got a 10 meg line to play dota 2 with no lag whatsoever.

Maybe with dota 3 ill have a 1gig line so I can play with no lag whatsoever.

Cant remember exactly when but I was one of the first when it came out.
The biggest mission was finding an ADSL router, I recall it being a dlink single port that cost R2.5k

Can't quite remember the date - but probably 2004ish with 384kbit.

I moved from Megawan which was - although illegal, pretty neat in terms of speed! I was running Megawan with 50kb/sec downloads in 2001
