When will iBurst reduce prices or increase caps?

getting annoyiing paying R489 for 3 gig of cap and playing on iburst servers.. lol i run out of that in maybe 10 days.. HoN lol..

As from today your "100 Days" have ended.

Within those days you have managed to introduce the Prepaid package and iBoss.

As with all things in life, things don't always go according to plan, like iBoss.

I'm sure you had your fair share of headaches through out this time.

I know iBoss isn't running perfect, but I am sure it's running at least 80% by now.

As you know by now, some have jumped the iBurst ship, but others are still paddling along, hoping to reach paradise island soon.

As the captain of this ship, could you indicate to your crew and guests as to how long one can expect to reach paradise island. (New packages/prices)

LOL :-D I didn't star cross us or anything and nope not Chinese, of Russian decent ;-). However, I don't think we need to read the stars to know that I-Burst were b*llsh*ting us, excuse the Russian. It also seems that the comments from I-Burst disappeared from this thread for a reason..... *looking into his crystal ball* *the crystal ball says..... I-Burst will reduce their price/increase caps in 3 months when every other ISP in SA have lowered theirs as they will have no choice and the I-Boss excuse would've gotten old*.
 
From what I gather after watching that video:

1. Bundle prices will stay the same
2. Caps will be increased
3. Out of Bundle (Top up) prices will be decreased

+1 Jannie, for having the courage to speak on camera...:)

Great! Well then get on with it, do it NOW :). Surely it's a matter of ... as the Americans put it "throwing some switches"?
 
A question which I asked a while ago is starting to reoccur in my mind. "How do I get out of my iBurst contract?" :rolleyes: Isn't it about time for us to get some good news? Or was Jannies 100 days extended?
 
No one knows for sure :)

If you read that article today about broadband pricing it showed that iBurst was the cheapest. This means that prices will most likely stay the same for years to come :(
 
Who the hell thinks gamers use 250mb.........That was not a valid point

And in the way complaints go I have seen tones of "slow spped" "high latency" complaints.

And iBurst is no where near ADSL, yes its cheaper than some ISPs but iBurst is slow and its connection is shoddy and its affected by weather... i.e we pay too much for a crap service that cannot compare to ADSL...

AND why would you compare your prices to telkom... they are one of the most expensice ISPs, thats like comparing a GeeWiz (a realy crap car, but its cheap) to the best Audi... they are so far apart you cant compare them on the same grounds.

iBurst needs to get its head out of its arse, and quickly.
 
why can't iburst do R50/gig on par with adsl?

The expensive part of adsl is line rental!

WTF is R199/gig?

What are we paying for?

bandwidth is bandwidth right?
