Where are the single men?

I actually have the same problem, I am 30 and hard to find single ladies my age as they always too old or too young.
 
Re: online dating.

I've got a friend that has seen in the region of 20 women over the last 8 months, all via online dating apps, social media and instant messaging. He has entered into a relationship with 0 of them. Three days ago he just broke down and said that his is tired of being alone. When I questioned him about it, we discovered the reason for it: turns out that being exposed to so much choice incapacitates him when it comes to making a choice. Which correlates pretty accurately with what recent research is saying, that too much choice is a bad thing.

PS: Don't say whipper snapper, you're not old enough to qualify for that term yet. :p

Reasonably well. She will complain about my hair and job but I ignore that. We're not the type of family that likes hugs and kisses but we do it when we haven't seen each other for a year (I hate it).

Don't be fussy, she's going to have to learn to put up with you, you may as well be prepared to love her farts and all. My theory why so many relationships fail = two stubborn and selfish people, not rocket science.
That said, it's perfectly fine finding a certain hair colour attractive. Just don't make it the be all and end all of your relationship. People change as they get older, she may lose her hair, go grey early, etc.

1. You'll never be ready.

2. Most of the parents at my daughters school are 40-45 with their first kid and quite a few are way older but not their first.

She is 2 1/2 now.
