I want to get an MNET decoder, can't get a sat dish where I live.
Where do u get them?

Can't get much info from the MNET site, just info on DSTV there.

Multichoice Agents/Dealers sell them for around R500, but you can get a second hand decoder for R100 or less, just check on bidorbuy or cash crusaders etc.

On the second hand decoder you can take out the decoder care plan (insurance) for around R8 a month and they'll swop out the decoder if you have any problems. I just bought an extra decoder and keep it as a spare so I don't pay for the care plan, I paid around R60 on bidorbuy.

Not going to try a 2nd hand one.
Wanted one a few years ago, my friend would've sold me his.
MNET wanted me to fax a copy of his id document, mine, proof of address and a few other things. Just too much hassles.

Just a Copy of the previous owner and a letter, I have a letter you can just edit it with your details and use it, its just a basic note saying that you have purchased the decoder.
