Which access point?

I'm considering installing a wireless access point at home (sometimes I want internet access in the bog, and I refuse to install a network jack in there).

Ideally, it must be entirely secure, and reliable. I'd rather have security set to max, and have to add MAC addresses manually, than risk a breach.

Suggestions. Link to Scoop's Ubiquiti range (which one?)

i got a D-Link DWL-2100AP. U can add the MAC address of the devices you want to be able to use, or the ones you dont. works perfect, very simple, but very decent thing. Have had it for years now without any issues.

Hope that helps

I've never used D-Link before. It's not on my "not even if it's the last router on earth" list, but I always thought of it as a consumer grade product. I need a bit of speed (my CCTV cameras stream at 8 mbps each), but I guess reliability and security are my main concerns. What's the range like?
