Just emails, virus updates & occasional browsing / internet banking.
Too be shared over network with 10 pc's.

Which would you suggest?
They currently have a 384 line with 1GB with Telkom (contract expired).

i'm pretty speechless that they managed to survive on a single gig the whole month. how often did they have to "topup"?
:) as hard as it is for me (because i'm hardcore anti uncapped) i kinda lean towards an uncapped deal for those uses you mentioned.

when making your sums though, keep in mind if the previous deal included the line rentals and email. personally i wouldn't lock myself into a contract again, but all in all doing so and getting cheapie IS gigs to use instead of topping-up in emergency might even work out to be less per month. email and banking should still work on capped TI which i don't think would be more than 10gB p/m

You could try simply adding local only gigs & splitting the traffic. The emails and internet bank for example will probably be local.

Not for myself, for a client. Seems after adding a few pcs' to network they need a bit more for the month.

Just get 384k uncapped from MWEB, for those purposes it will be great and should remove any burden associated with managing the networks ADSL
