Which Android Player

@Barfish88: My MXIII 1GB version is arriving tomorrow morning! Post again if you want any more information. I also have the T2 wireless air mouse which is a really excellent product. I recently replaced the batteries after three months of very heavy use which is very good battery life for this type of product. The current gyro technology is quite power hungry. Which air mouse/keyboard are you considering?

While you are waiting take a look at this latest video review of a very similar unit from RedFerret. The version that AVS is selling has much better customised firmware (most up to date apps for Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, most popular XBMC repositories added etc., etc.). There isn't anything else currently on the market with this combination of features. The price has also just been reduced to R1200 which is excellent value in my opinion. There are so many free high quality streaming (1channel, ProjectFreeTV, Icefilms, Showbox, USDrama, Shush, etc, etc.) options available on this device that I doubt that you will want to subscribe to Netflix or Hulu Plus.

Have you looked at the MXIII? People who have reviewed many of the latest Amlogic/Rockchip/Allwinner android media players consider this to be one of the best machines currently available.

Here is some feedback for that seller ...

Yes I saw that, but maybe at only R220 its worth the gamble. The seller as had 51 reviews and that was the only negative one.

Still 6 days left on the deal so will probably still change my mind a couple of times

Look at all the other items he is selling, all priced $20 - $23 for things that normally sell for $80 - $150

Just look how much this guy is going to be making off with over the next few days. The combined total should run into thousands of dollars. Maybe Paypal will refund the money. Notice that none of the positive feedback is for these bargain items.

Yes the Ebay protection really covers you nicely for the first 30days. I also noticed that there was no feedback for the M8 or even the Raspberry Pi which is a bit concerning.

@zorro5614: The MXIII is a really nice machine and the support, firmware updates and warranty from AVSupply make it a much better buy than anything you can find on Aliexpress etc. You will find that it pays for itself in just a few months as you can watch a lot of free content that you need to pay for on other machines like the Roku 3 or the WD Live.

Hi Barfish,

If you wait a week, we're bringing in the 2GB Bluetooth version of the MXIII

What does the Blueteeth entail? Will I be able to stream music from my phone via Blueteeth?

I just bought this from AVSupply.
DroidTV MXQ 1GB 1080p Media Player with Android 4.4 and XBMC

For the price it suits my pocket. I can't wait to try it out. Package just arrived. Thanks for the awesome service J.

OP if you willing to chance it on Ebay the choice is yours, but for most spending the extra R700 odd for better peace of mind as well as proper backup support locally far out weighs buying cheap :erm: Use it .. don't use it.

@efitol: Hopefully AVS or somebody else who owns this model will be better able to answer your question. I know that you can connect Bluetooth keyboards and game controllers via the internal Bluetooth transceiver but I'm not sure about the audio capabilities.
