I've been using Google Chrome since it was released, but I'm looking for something more secure (and with less tracking stuff) with a sync option so I can sync bookmarks etc between 3 devices. I've tried Brave, but I can't get the sync option to work. Which browser do you use or would you recommend?

Vivaldi. Uses Chrome extensions, plenty built in.

I mostly use Firefox and Google Chrome. I like Firefox more because Chrome makes my old Windows 10 PC somewhat laggy. Google Chrome is a memory (RAM) hog.

The new Edge is awesome, and the UI elements look better than other browsers at 1440p. I think the padding between bookmarks proves that the devs are using 4K or 2K displays lol.

The biggest reason is simply because the mobile Edge browser has built-in ad blocking and is also based on Chromium. So I get my bookmarks in sync across platforms, don't have to deal with ads and get great rendering quality.

On a PC using Windows, in order of preference: Firefox, Vivaldi, new Microsoft Edge, Chrome.
On an Android smartphone, was using Chrome, now prefer the new Microsoft Edge.

I find that text looks like crap in Firefox on Windows. It still doesn't flippen support Webkit font smoothing on Windows. It's immediately noticeable when I fire up Firefox for testing sites I'm working on.

Have you tried adding moz osx font smoothing to your base profile? @Bryn

Edit
So ignore.

Is your system font clear?

Firefox.

Reason - Was downloading stuff in the early years of XP using IE. a File of 700MB would start a download get to 40% and suddenly say completed. After doing this a few times I started using Firefox. No issues with it that I had to search for a new one. Been using it for years.
