Which Coupe to buy...

Well being an Audi fanboy i'd go for the S3 (which is a hatch btw), but the BMW looks a lot nicer.

It being a hatch is the reason why I have reservations about it. However, it's an amazing car. I know a few guys who swear by the S3...
 
What a waste of money. Coupe's, that is. Don't see the point to a car with only 2 doors.
And there's much better things one can do with R350k.... :wtf:

Rather get a nice sexy Mazda 3 for R220k and spend the other R130k on something better, like investments or property improvements. :D

Are you seriously trying to compare a Mazda 3 to an Audi S3? No man, that's just wrong...
 
Careful of 335's leaving their motorplans. Their engines suffer from a problem with the high pressure fuel pump and people seem to be going through them at an alarming rate - potentially a pricey situation if it's not covered by a warranty. The S3's are awesome cars, but I personally don't like Audi so I'd stay away from that.

Pick ANY car of your choice, as long as it has 4 doors.
I hate coupe's, that's all. Stupid cars, Coupe's.

I hate stupid 4 door cars.
@Op 135 over the S3 for me, the S3 is quite dated now, will look ancient against the new one due this year.

None of these you mentioned come even close in the looks department :p
 
E92 335i, no question. It's an amazing looking car and the performance is brilliant.
 
I think you should actually be looking at an A5/S5 instead of S3 as a competitor to the 335i coupe.
 
The A5 coupe is sexy as hell...but still, I wouldn't spend that money on a performance vehicle like the S3 or 335. Your tyres alone are going to be like 4k a pop. :eek:

Especially a 2nd hand on nearing motor plan expiry.
 
Don't buy ANY second hand "sporty" vehicle it'll become a bigger bottomless pit then it already is.........................
 
I don't think you will go wrong with the 135i, 335i, S3 or S5. Just make sure there is sufficient maintenence plan left, or get it extended for as long as possible. Any one of these should put a huge smile on your face.

Out of this list I would go for the 135i or the S5, but only as a second car. I have a family of 5.
