I am struggling like ****. Fingers to big, rocksmith to fast (or me to slow), the young one does better than me but he's learning on other programs first as rocksmith do not seem to have a proper tutor principle. You have to know the basics already it seems.

just redo the songs then go to the techniques i have never picked up a guitar before rocksmith and im slowly getting it first time i did satisfaction(single note) i got like 30% im now on 90% notes hit...

Next thing keep an eye out for which amp thread :D

personally, I would say go on the net and learn a few major and minor chords, learn what power chords are. Grab a program called guitar pro and download some punk songs like Blink 182 and offspring. then give rocksmith a go and im sure you will find it much easier.

Maybe some of you guys would want to check out Gibson's 20 DVD "Learn and Master Guitar" course.

The guys on acoustic guitar forum swears by it.

And anyone knows if a guitarist is worth his metal, he's good on an acoustic. ;-)

True. These days they're ripping all these monster size amps out of the studio even and replacing them with VST modular systems.

Check this video for a a little demonstration of just how well VST can perform.
