Hi guys

This is my first post
in terms of salary and jobs opportunities which is better from php and a bi developer ?
I am a currently doing my bi developer internship but i want to move on to a developers post cause i really liked programming at college but could not get any internships.or should i stick with bi developer or were should i move on to?

Career is always about trying to find the balance that works for you. The ratio of loving what what you do vs the remuneration you can earn.

So there is no "Better". Depends on what your priorities are. What do you want to do? Do you want to earn a lot of cash, or do you want to wake up every morning looking forward to getting to work?

For salary and job opportunities, BI jobs are growing exponentially. However, I've worked in BI and it was not alot of fun, YMMV. Expect to spend a lot of time trying to figure out data anomalies and tinkering with SQL to get data into models that look great at first glance but often aren't aligned to the underlying data in source systems. Unless you're on the business side crafting data requirements, it's kind of a poop job, in my experience.
