Which ISP do you use for your fibre of DSL service, and why did you select this ISP?

Metrofibre it came with the fibre never bothered changing its cheap and service works

Cybersmart Lightspeed.
I campaigned fror the service to be installed in my complex, as I had been using a wireless link to another building with the service installed - and it had Zero issues
WHY ?: Speed

Cool Ideas,

Eliminating the known suspects from the available list, Cool Ideas stood out as something new and fresh.

Wouldn’t mind giving MTN a shot, but also no big complaints other than the normal ones we have with CISP and Octotel in Blouberg. (Better the devil you know?!)

ISPAfrika
Was running out of contenders, I live in a fibre "village" and we only have a small group to pick from.

R799 - 20Mb Uncapped Fibre

Fibre? What is this myth you speak of? I have CellC LTE through Axxess. Soon to be switched to MTN through Axxess.

Vox
Joined Vox when they launced the Fat pipe package. Moved to 10mb fibre some months ago.

I’ve been using Telkom with very little disruptions until last week. My internet feed has been intermittent and to date I completely have no internet connection at all. I hope this will change as I interact with them.

Swopped to afrihost after my previous provider was getting hit by ddos attacks and I assumed a crystalweb type situation. So I swopped. Then Afrihost started getting DDOS'd. :( Although, they do handle it better than the previous ISP. Also, two months free internet and the swop over was painless. Still early days though, but so far so good.

123Net
Best service, best price.
All users are connected via Telegram app, issues are resolved in real time.

Cybersmart - Been with them since I move from Dailup to ADSL and now again from ADSL to Fibre .... I hardly every have complaints with them and the small issues we usually sort out chop-chop. All they need to do now is upgrade their website to reflect the stuff from "TODAY".
Hint-hint @CyberSmart

I dumped Telkom so need a new ISP and VOX offered the best deal at the time. Very happy so far.

VOX, signed up when they had the fat pipe deals. Data is cheap, R126p/m for 400GB and it rolls over. I have 2.4TB available.

Frogfoot and Home-Connect 100/100 for R888.00 very happy with the speedy service that I have received from both.
