Axxess.. I chose its Telkom LTE 20GB anytime + 20GB night surfer @ R263 which included a ZTE router valued R1700, since Telkom is on the verge of killing ADSL and that we don't have fiber coverage.

Vox
They were the first to contact me when fibre was available in my area
i Use 10mb up and 10mb down
i selected it because it was a fair price

Afrihost on Vuma fibre. Moved to them while on adsl from Mweb who throttled the internet.

Which ISP do you use for your fibre of DSL service, and why did you select this ISP?

ISPAfrika

Came highly recommended for great service with new fibre installations in Pretoria. And prices are competitive.
Was not disappointed. They really went the extra mile when things started going balls up due to Openserve installers.

Recently also helped me troubleshoot and fix my Wi-Fi issues at home even when the issue was on my side after they tested their side.

Stayed with Telkom when Openserve laid fibre in the complex. (Old adsl package upgraded).
Fibre 2 yrs now without a single issue, v. happy with it.

I use Mweb for I think about 20years now....I still have an iafrica.com email..lol. Use to have telkom adsl but now have Vumatel Fibre 10down and 2 up...and it works! Will not change...very happy chappy..

Rocketnet because they had good prices and I didn't know who else to use. It's been a pretty smooth experience though so I'm not complaining too much - although I'm looking to change to an ISP that routes better internationally for better latency.

I use Afrihost ADSL now for almost 16 years.
No silly contracts and no throttling or shaping. Best value for money.
Hopefully we will get fibre in this lifetime and I will stay with Afrihost.

100Mbps with CISP on FrogFoot.

Fantastic service and have had zero issues so far.

Why? Because I prefer to get what I pay for which Cool Ideas does without fuss or problems.

Currently Telkom ADSL 10mbps,waiting for my contract to end on the 4th December 2019 and will be looking out for a Black Friday\Cyber Monday Fibre special :). Currently thinking of Cool Ideas or Afrihost on Octotel in the Southern Suburbs Cape Town.

I did some research on this and other fora to see which ISP is highly rated and even checked the complaints forums for what type of service issues customers were experiencing. I chose Vox for my fiber line because I was on vodacom mobile data for years and the price for a 10mb up and down installation for my area was exactly the same on all ISP's due to the fiber installer cost - So it was up to who responded most patiently and comprehensively to all my questions, concerns and inquiries. Installation within 7 days and 3 months later all is happy on the home front.

I moved to Afrihost when Mweb started their throttling crap on their uncapped accounts. Been with them since.
