Which ISP should I go for?

Hey guys

So fibre has FINALLY been rolled out in my area and I’m wondering which isp I should go for? I have a budget of about 1.7k pm and I do a lot of p2p downloading and use about just under 1000gb per month. Which isp do you guys recommend that will provide good speeds and not shape or throttle downloads? Thanks in advance

Coolideas or VOX. I have not had an issue with vox. I recommend VOX on vumatel though since i am on Vumatel. not sure about other FNOs

Personally I would go with either Cool Ideas or Web Squad.

Both ISPs have reps on the forum that have a lot of technical knowledge about their network and know their way around BGP, etc.

I've been using Cool Ideas and have been very happy.

Which FNO? That budget could get you 1 Gbps on a few different networks. Or at least 200 Mbps on (almost) all the rest.

With Openserve, you're limited to 200 Mbps download max (100 Mbps up) unfortunately. But that's more than enough to breeze through 1TB and much more.

If you are looking at 1gbps then Vumatel is the way to go.

My order of preference... Cool Ideas, Vox, the rest.

I recommend against going with Supersonic. High international ping and low international speeds. Had nothing but trouble with them and their customer service is worse than Telkom's was/is.
