Which lockdown restrictions should be lifted?

sale of alcohol and cigarettes . Word out there is that alcohol being sold at crazy prices like R300 for a beer quart - makes it worse for the majority of our population who are going to shebeens to buy. Smokers are not going to improve their chances by not smoking for 3 weeks . Makes for more abuse in the family environment
While I don't contest that the ban should be lifted remember that not all smokers get abusive when they don't smoke, don't be ignorant and put us in a box as if we are all the same, we are not. I've been a daily smoker for over 5 years, haven't smoked since the start of the lockdown and im fine. Shows people's ignorance and pure stupidity, people do not understand addiction. They think that all addicts are desperate or violent or that we'll resort to crime if we dont get our "fix", rubbish. Addiction doesn't work like you see in the movies.

Don't underplay it either, many have a very rough time - took me years to find a way to stop.

As many as possible because it would save some jobs...and would be good for people to be allowed to sensibly be allowed outside to exercise and get sun (both are vital to healthy immune systems).

Schools and universities should open so that young people can get infected.
Also reckon there's gonna be a lot of health issues and poisonings with people trying to use alcohol surrogates, stop he prohibition.

Couriers should be able to deliver anything - they are all operating anyhow, there are a good few thousand online stores. All restaurants should be able to deliver only and not remain closed and places that sell car parts and general equipment such as builders and Mica should be open. Why kill and destroy people's employment and small businesses - all these can operate online and still maintain the lockdown.

Shops that are open, such as Checkers, should be allowed to sell everything - how can toys not be essential and stopping the sale of cigarettes - why, what's the point, and no, I don't smoke.

Sales on everything. Movement is already restricted. Why restrict sales on anything? Especially online. Takealot selling bed linen but not WiFi routers?! Makes no sense.

Definitely alcohol and ciggies. People have already started breaking the law by going out to dodgy places just to get smokes and booze. Not to mention the liquor outlets in informal areas getting broken into and looted.

Motor Spares (Commercial Vehicles - Bakkies & Trucks)
Motorbike Delivery Services (Non Essential Goods)
Hardware Shops (Deliveries Only)

Cigarettes. I don't consume alcohol but alcohol withdrawal syndrome is dangerous.

The dog should be allowed to be taken for a walk - I have a border collie that is literally climbing the walls.
(he is used to going for a daily run on the field)

Also - hardware stores would be helpful as a few things have broken / urgently need to be looked at (pane of glass broken in the door due to frustrated border collie + leak in roof + kitchen tap spewing water all over)
I totally agree about walking our dogs! It saddens me to see my dog suffering like this. We live in an appartment, with no garden. My dog doesn't understand. He is so used to his daily walks...he sits and cries by the window ...
I cannot stand to see him like this...and now the lockdown has been extended with another 2 weeks!!

They neef to allow the online sale of office equipment to/for everyone. I desperately need toner and a new office chair!
