Which lockdown restrictions should be lifted?

All constitutional freedoms should be returned, and those who knowingly have suppressed immune systems or are sickly should take their own precautions. I'd be happy to accept that shops remain closed to anyone but pensioners until 11am for instance, but this idea that the entire country should shut down, and my rights and freedoms removed, is an issue. In the greater scheme of things, who's going to pay for this?
Everyone. That said, the Government will shift the financial burden onto employed, taxpaying, citizens and the private sector whilst they extend grants even further.

Building and homeware- things need fixing, I dont have a magic wand. A globe fuses, not allowed to buy that -stupid. keep on banning alcohol and cigarettes dimwit- you are creating a black market and making criminals rich. personally, I dont drink alcohol or smoke, but you are driving criminality - not clever.

Non essential items being lifted completely. What is non-essential to you could be critical to someone else. Just let people who need to shop.

Sales of IT-related items like Computer Hardware and Software. This Tech. is essential in today's world.

Which lockdown restrictions do you think don’t help to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and should be lifted?
Lift restrictions on courier deliveries from online shops as long as the delivery guys adhere to basic guidelines like washing hands and keeping a good distance when delivering parcels. Allow alcohol and cigarette sales on a restricted basis - say only sold with quantity restrictions in supermarkets and licensed off sales. Open hardware shops perhaps with some restrictions -there is a need for sale of paraffin and gas and repair items etc.. Allow deliveries of prepared food orders with strict protocols for drivers and social distancing. The above will help the locked down population and the economy without substantially increasing the risk to the spread of the disease.

Couriers, cigarettes and alcohol. Couriers because it is the safest way of shopping for other items (books for eg). I can see the reason for the ban on alcohol in that it keeps more people out of ICU but it won't work. The business goes underground . Same with cigarettes. I can still get these, it just costs more and I can bet you SARS doesn't see a cent.

Hardware stores for one.

Online retail & courier services. We can all work from home at our company but we cannot sell because stock is being held up for being non-essential (security equipment so there's maybe even a case that it is essential).

Staff being retrenched whilst we sit with 3 sizeable orders which we can't release and once that happens will likely be at minimal to zero margin due to the ROE having gone haywire.

Unban Alcohol, Cigarettes (I do not smoke or dring alcohol).
Allow limited walks outside at close proximity to home.

Restricting the purchase of certain items in a store, while other items in that same store may be purchased does nothing to curtail the spreading of the virus.
Surely you can purchase gardening supplies, seeing that you're at home with extended time to work in a garden. This could and should even fall under agricultural supplies. But with PnP, that's a big NOPE.

Need to try keep fit, but cannot. That should be lifted, as many people depend on some form of fitness to curtail depression.
