Which mobile operator do you think has the best network in South Africa?

Vodacom. Been all over SA and have never had network issues.
 
I find Vodacom to be the most consistent. Yes I have some issues, but my friend has to call me from one end of my road because he doesn't have cell signal at my gate (Telkom mobile)
 
For someone that travels a lot to out of the way rural areas and small towns, I say Vodacom still has the most extensive and reliable network I've experienced. I occasionally even reach 3G levels in places I never thought I would.:crylaugh:
 
Vodacom has the best network, but they are disproportionally expensive. Therefore I won't subscribe to them.
 
I think vodacom has the best coverage - rarely do people i know with vodacom phones mention coverage issues
 
Ask 100 different people and you will get 100 different answers to this one.. and surprisingly each one will be right. Everyone has their own experience of whats best and it applies to themselves - they answer accordingly. You asked a subjective question "best" coverage, so will get subjective answers.

Coverage maps show Voda has the most "extensive" coverage - but is it the "best"?.. That's another 100 answers...

Spot on! All will tell you "you are covered" but none will commit as to the quality of the coverage.
 
Been using Cell C for about a year now. Dont have any complaints. And who else will give you a whatsapp bundle for R7.50
 
In my opinion, I would say Vodacom has the best coverage and therefore usually the best signal in every area. In the area I live, the signal is always strong with no issues. I choose Vodacom also because of its Power Hour and My5 prepaid specials.
 
I've been on Vodacom, MTN, Virgin Mobile and now currently Cell C. I would say Vodacom. Planning to move to Telkom soon though.
 
All of them have their off days , but I will have to go with Vodacom for most coverage
 
I've chosen MTN because I've been with them for the last 6 years...can't remember a dropped call or any other network problems. The only problem though, as with all our cellular sp's is the data prices #datamustfall
 
Vodacom is the best overall and around my main areas of work and play but you do have pockets of areas where any of the other operators might perform better.
