Which mobile operator do you think has the best network in South Africa?

I honestly think it Vodacom but Telkom is just an inch behind especially in Rural areas.
 
With regards to network its definitely Vodacom, but definitely not for long as Telkom is inching ever closer to the top spot
 
Telkom had really good value for money. MTN are so rigid with their contracts, they cannot or will not accommodate their clients. They are like DSTv they charge you for service you don't need or want.
 
i have been with vodacom now for 20 something years never had any problems, n have signal where the others dont have.
 
My best of all is MTN, you will always get an mtn signal almost everywhere in south Africa even in the most rural areas.
 
I've been using MTN for a while and would have to say Vodacom has the best network.
 
The best of what ??. Telkom has by far the best network with the worst service. Vodacom has the best Cell Phone portion out of the lot. If you listen to the "billions" Vodacom say they are speending every year to make their network better, they must of spent enough to have replaced it 20 times by now but it is still rubbish.
 
Telkom is better equipped with their network, and can cover a bigger area.
 
Vodacom has the best coverage especially in rural areas.
 
Vodocom. I have a MTN and Vodocom contract and I get more benifits and service and less hassles from Vodocom. MTN has a few issues and this is causing me to think twice about renewal.
 
Vodacom... I've tried cell c, telkom and MTN. No issues with Vodacom. Only time it does show me edge is if I'm maybe on basement level -3 :)
 
I think it depends in the area you are in - for me, Vodacom works fine. But if I had to try another one, it would have to be telkom purely based on price. That said, I use so little airtime it is not worth the hassle.
 
I have been an MTN subscribe for about 10 years now, and quite happy with their coverage. Have never had a dropped call. Not too happy with their pricing though.
 
Mtn, purely because of Afrihost's great data deals. 3Gb costs me less than 1.5GB at Mtn self.
