Hey guys,
please assist me in buying a new psu for my folks.

I recently ordered a new mobo for them but the psu got water in it and blew. I am looking for a basic one and preferably a cheapie.

I was looking at something like this :
http://www.pc-direct.co.za/pIP-S300T7/IP-S300T7--IP-S300T7-Proline-300W-Power-Supply.aspx

or this :

All they have is a dvd drive and a single hard drive, mobo.

Will 300W be enough? I'm not too sure what is needed in terms of wattage.

I recently bought one of the low end Aerocool models for R230 from VisionTechnologies in Midrand and it seems to be working very well so far.

Thanks man. is there delivery on point? PC Direct were very sharp with the last order I made.
Also I am just concerned that I buy the wrong PSU. I found this one :

It must surely be enough power ? But your reccomendations looks good ! how is there service :) ?

Esquire supplies the Unique PSUs. You could look on their website to see if it is any cheaper - they also have a reasonably priced courier service. Personally I would rather look at something like the Gigabyte Odin or the AeroCool which should be better quality. I bought my unit directly from their shop in Midrand. I think there is also a branch in Pretoria so I haven't used their courier service.

Gigabyte Odin from PC-Direct ...
