There is G2A, Kinguin ( I think now renamed ), CDKeys etc.

Are those valid stores or should these not be mentioned?

Surprisngly enough, all three have legitimately distributed games, but what they are, is grey marketplaces. Most of the stuff they sell aren't legally issued goods. Some time ago a known streamer whose name I can't remember was caught selling review keys. LOL.

I don't mind if people buy from those places, but Steam and Green Man Gaming offer better deals, all of which are licenses that are issued within the proper distribution framework. Yes, Green Man Gaming does do regional pricing that also includes us. Some games are limited to one purchase per account.

I once bought a bundle from Humble. Now the name of the game is escaping me, but the dev had a fit of sorts due to reasons that was well discussed on Reddit, but he revoked all of those licenses... Humble did force a license reinstatement.

So yeah, be wary of buying games on grey marketplaces. If it can happen on Humble, it can happen there too, and they aren't in the position of restoring your purchase. EA, Ubi and Battlenet (Activision-Blizzard) are known to revoke grey licenses.

Good point. Has not happened to me yet. I have a mix of various sourced games including GOG and Epic. And other platforms also exist. And a few from these sort of sites as well. Have a local and Japanese account on Switch. Have several foreign accounts on PSN.

Region switching is easy on the PS but on the Vita, I had to run two Vitas back in the day for two countries. As switching there required a complete reset.
