Which UPS would you recommend

Think I'll go for one of those. Any recommendations for 30-50cm cable extensions?
Communica should have, or be able to make them up for you. I think I paid R4.50 per connector two weeks ago, and rip-cord is super cheap.

https://www.communica.co.za/products/ratel-860p This one here?

How do the two compare? The Ratel has more and bigger batteries so lasts much longer doing exactly the same thing?
Hey ... @Speedster answered all your questions I see.
I went for the 860P because we sit with 4.5 hour loadshedding slots, so wanted to make sure everything stays on for fibre and Wifi.
I am also using the USB outputs to charge phones, controllers, headsets, etc on my desk in the study. The additional output ports will also allow me to power a MiBox, Decoder, etc should I so wish

Yes, he did.

Those devices look like a great solution.

I'm just deciding which one to buy first...

How many hours do you get from the 860P?
In July when we had loadshedding for under 4 hours mine dropped to 50%.

First LS since we got the UltranLAN UPS. At the end of the shift the battery indicator was still on 3 out of 4 bars, so that is a good sign.

I wonder if continuous streaming affects batter life.
My first light drops to 75% just after 1h20 mins or so.

I have the ONT and modem on the one device.
Doubt it. Was atreaming for 3.5 out of the 4.5 hours, also 2 devices. Ended on 75%

Picked up the Lifepo4 version of the wibox from Arion.

Tested it on my Asus rt-ac68u and yealink W60B sip. With the in line 19v and 5v converters. Lasted +- 5hrs.

Running the same test on a zyxel T20A 12v spaza and the same yealink sip, it's at 11hrs and counting. I beleive its the same size at the lead acid version, Alan at Arion is a lekker oak, he's customized my box with 4 leads, so I would be able to power, 1x rt-ax88u, zoom ont, yealink sip, and possibly in the near future my ubiquiti 8 port edge switch 150w 48v.

Very impressive little box, blue nova 104wh Lifepo4 cell inside, I believe the cell alone retails for around R800. What's great about this cell is it can keep plugging away being drained up to 95% without showing wear for many many years.
