Which UPS would you recommend

Finally ...

I had a Mever 650VA That I bought at IC.
One month into using the device, the damn thing struggled to switch from battery, to wall power and back.
I contacted these IC bastards and they didn't reply.
I am now trying to avoid Mecer in the future but it seems like a good UPS is a hit and miss type of scenario.

Picking up mine tomorrow. Might need a longer cable though.
Would like to know your thoughts on this?
Yeah, so all cables are VERY short.
The y-split had me move the ONT and router to the desk, however I will still make a plan to move everything to underneath the desk.
Bonus that both are 12v, so splitter works fine.
They do provide a bigger plug with open ended wires on the other end, but I didn't need it. I might cut some older charger wires for longer ones, or get some official ones at Communica.

The units seem to be built very well. Tested both by unplugging power, and switched without losing any connection.

Thus far I am very happy.

Those Mecer's are crap. Also got one that didn't last even a couple of months.

the mecer UPS has tiny batteries and is inefficient you'd rather use DC-DC like the Ratel or 5v battery bank booster for DC devices and keep the UPS for AC devices like a PC/laptop or similar

For what's it is worth, I got this extra just to run my ONT +fiber router. Seems to do ok with yesterday's 2.5 hour shed

This looks perfect for running your fibre ONT and router (and some small USB-powered thing / charging a phone)

Any downsides you've picked up so far?
