Win 95 D

Fasman: I also had 95D which was a rather excellent piece of software. Pity mine went missing when we relocated.

I would upgrade to 8 except dumbass axxess and afrihost ip snafu wont let me

I took out an openweb 3GB trial account to bypass that little problem, worked like a charm (just big enough to download win 8), then back to AH

pity we only have one option in the poll, I have my main gaming PC dual boot with XP and Win7 Pro, my laptop is dual boot Win 7 HP and Win 8

Home Desktop: Windows 7 Ultimate
Personal Notebook: Windows 8 Professional
Work: Windows 7 <Not sure which version>

Loving windows 8. Barely used the win 7 start menu. So no reall loss. I have all I need on the desktop & if I right-click on bottom left of the screen. Also enabled quick start menu for the most common apps

Is anyone here using Windows 8 that is trully happy with it, and if so why?

Not me. I'm using it because I know that I must keep up with the times, but I preferred Windows 7. Hell, I preferred some aspects of XP!

That ****ing daisy is getting on my ****ing nerves. If someone doesn't release a crack soon, I'm going back to 7.
I can't slide my mouse alone the top edge of my left monitor onto my right monitor. This makes moving a maximised app more difficult.
Having two interfaces is confusing as hell. Metro apps open in metro, and don't appear on the taskbar, so unless you check every so often, you could end up with half a dozen apps open without knowing it. And this constant switching between interfaces. What. The. ****. !!!. Sometimes the start menu opens on my left monitor, sometimes my right, apps expand to random screens and minimise to nowhere. Really Microsoft, for the 50th time, stop listening to the ****s on this "the PC is dead" kick. PCs are alive and very strong, and need a PC interface, not a tablet interface. I have 3 million god damn pixels, I don't need **** disappearing from view just so that Windows can do well on tablets. ****.
Also, two taskbars suck, and quicklaunch should be available by default.
